PAIN

I liked this book; however, the author needs to develop her writing. This story had great potential I just think it should have had more character development. Ashanti went to entirely too much in such a short span of time it almost seemed unrealistic. Not to mention it seemed as if she was looking for love in all the wrong places. I look forward to part 2. This is my first read by the author so I won't count her out just yet.

Where is this trying to take me???

What the heck did I just read??? this book was not planned well--you had all kinds of stuff coming and it was very damn confusing.
I know where she was going but often in this book--you never knew when something was changing--be it the conversation or the person the is speaking---or who the main character was talking about--as IF it was introduced earlier when it wasn't.
You also did not know that the main character was reflecting on the past, in a lot of instances.
I was like "what??"
its like some parts of the story were placed in the wrong places.
I had such high hopes, not interested in reading anything from this author again--she had me almost cross eyed because some stuff was crossed up..disheartening

Painfully Awful

I started reading this book for a discussion in a book group on Facebook. I was quickly disappointed. The story was confusing and made no sense what-so-ever. A lot of situations that happened were not researched and made it laughable....but not funny....just wow.
At first I thought it was just me feeling completely irritated by this confusing tale but it wasn't. I eventually gave up on it at 67%.
